chickchock
Hi, could someone recommend a ground sanitizer please? We have an Eglu classic with 3m run, I move it once a week so it starts on grass and is bare earth within a few days. This is fine for us as we are not precious about the grass in that part of the garden. Once the run has been moved I rake the ground and dump the whole lot in the compost. Now the weather is warming up would like to start putting something down each time we move the run. So need something suitable for grass that quickly becomes bare earth! I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.
The Dogmother
I used to use Stalosan, but it's very powdery, and blows everywhere when you're sprinkling it. About 6 years ago, I changed to Nettex's Ground sanitising Powder, and it's fab, just a clean sort of smell and it banishes all the nasties. I sprinkle it in the run on a weekly basis, and rake through the litter. Also on the ground when I clean out the run. It supports our worming programme by clearing worm eggs
