mullethunter
After trying tons of recipes for microwave chocolate mug cakes, I've finally found one that usually works for me, so I thought I'd share... Large mug needed - I use one that came free wi PG tips a couple of Christmases ago - monkeys dressing gown comes off when it gets hot 2 and a half tbsp plain flour 2 and a half tbsp gran. Sugar 1 tbsp cocoa powder Half tsp baking powder Pinch salt Mix above ingredients in the mug until well blended. Then add 1 and a half tbsp flora 1 and a half tbsp milk 1 pekin egg Few drops vanilla essence Mix well until blended (I use a fork) Put two squares dark chocolate on her top, and gently pour half tbsp cold water just on the top. Microwave for about 70 seconds (until the top no longer is runny - this takes trial and error to get right). Leave for a minute or two, then eat with a spoon of vanilla ice cream. I like it with about the top two thirds cakey and the bottom saucy. The only way I can not make this is by making sure I don't have ice cream in the house as I find it too rich to eat without! Grandmashazzie
That sounds lovely. What power setting on your microwave do you use?
