Disinfection is important - we use Interkokast or BiOOcyst and then you need to keep everything dry as Daphne said.

A vet can give Baycox rather than using Coxoid and you’re right to give unmedicated feed while they’re on it. I personally wouldn’t give tonics alongside treatment if they were my birds as you don’t know how they will react when mixed in their water; and I never give yoghurt or dairy to chickens.

Using a broody doesn’t reduce the risk of cocci, always need to be vigilant
