Easter swap 2019

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd better get a swap sorted as I've seen a few of you getting excited about it already

If you'd like to join in just add your name to the list, make something nice and send it to your swap person, then pop on a photo of the gift you receive.

I will put dates and more info up at a later time.

I want to join in although I'm bit of a scaredy cat about my abilities and I've forgotten how this works. Can I add my name anyway?

Of course you can 🙂

All abilities are welcome. Basically, you make something for someone and someone makes something for you.

I will let you know who at a later date.

I mostly have Christmas making abilities but I try and have a go at other things.

If you change your mind about taking part, let me know.

Umm, it might be a bit predictable what someone’s going to get from me 😂 but now I’ve learnt to do something me too please 😊👍🏻

I did say I would take part in the next swap but with the recent news and everything I have going on here now I will say no.  Sorry

Sorry - too much going on.  I may have overdone it with the seed potatoes!  Lots of work in the garden/veg plot.   But am also prepping for a quilt retreat next month and also having family visit.  It was supposed to be stress free here - but everyone wants to stay!  LOL!

But are we going to let @Valkyrie ignore this one too? And what about @Plum and @AndyRoo? Want to join in?

Other than occasionally knitting a scarf, I'm not that crafty! Well, not unless any of you are in the market for soap, play dough, slime, or a calming jar. lol

Not that crafty he says! Those are at least 3 different crafts right there! (And I have total reverence for anyone who can stand knitting! No patience for that!)

Lol!  Tent!  I have a feeling some peeps will at some stage. They may have to if we can't get the workshop and garage rebuilt any time soon!

What’s a calming jar AndyRoo? I like the sound of that!

Technically they're sensory tools for children with anxiety or anger issues (or if they're on the spectrum etc.), but I find them really nice to look at myself.

This video can explain more. I made myself one ages ago which I think got binned, so I'll have to make myself a new one.

Oooh I do like the pretty jars!  Always wanted to have a bash at making my own slime - just to play with stress buster.  I don't know if the borax substitute works for that or if there's another way of making it.
