Looking for a used Cube near Manchester or in Cheshire please?

Recommended Posts

Dear Club Omlet Users:

Does anyone have a 2nd hand Cube for sale within striking distance of SW Manchester or in Cheshire or Lancashire?

Currently between jobs & retraining as a Plumber following a mid life crisis / nervous breakdown & can’t quite justify the cost of a new one. Best Regards Neil

Hope you find one.  Another thought is that I got my first one as a reconditioned one from Omlet.  They might not do that now, and it will be a MK2 ( I like the MK1), but might be worth a phone call.

Thanks Patricia, it might be worth asking, or if they have something that’s a 2nd or ex-display or something? Thanks for the idea & well wishes too! I could always extend the search Nationally & have it couriered to me, as I can’t imagine it’ll fit in a Fiat Panda? X

Doesn’t ANYONE Nationally have a CUBE for sale Nationally?

I can have a cleaned CUBE couriered to me in Manchester 100% sure of this.

Cheers Neil xxx

Yes but for a 10 year old example it’s probably better value to then buy NEW?

Cubes are very durable and many have had them for that period without issue and some here have a third hand Cube. Actually the new Cubes (you buy now) are considered less sturdy.

I’d go for a 10 year old MK 1 anyday.  My blue one must be years old than that as I bought it well used 10 years ago, and it’s still pristine.  Interestingly, the colour is still strong unlike the green cube, 11 years old which has faded.

Gosh Patricia W, I can buy a brand new one for £550, so a 10 year old example at £500 isn’t value for money! Mark I or II doesn’t bother me as I’m planning on housing the thing with in a shed regardless? Money is very tight at the moment & a fair price is fine: This one appears greedy!

Sorry it does

The version, including extended run, she is advertising there has a new price of £850. It definitely doesn’t appear greedy to me. But to each there own.

The new MK 2’s are smaller, and the plastic not the same quality.  So not comparing like with like.  The bonus with Omlet products is up till now, they hold their value.

Alas I don’t really want or need the extended run, & so it does make it really rather expensive & it doesn’t fit my needs. If I can get a 2nd hand Cube for around £300, I’d be delighted, as I’m on a HUGELY tight budget.
