Cats always, have 2

2. Favourite colour / colours. Colours you really don't like
Love blues, greens. Also like strong reds, purples etc. Never wear yellow, not really a pastels person

3. Winter, spring, summer, autumn
Every season that comes around I think it's my favourite (until the next one)

4. Seaside or mountains

Difficult love mountains and nature but find little harbours irresistible (I think it's the idea you could sail away anywhere) and love a walk along a beach, never sunbathe

5. Modern Christmas, traditional Christmas or don't celebrate. And do you put a tree up?
Mostly traditional but not Victorian.¬†3 trees ūüėā Main tree has my collection of gold colour¬†Danish ornaments, second has mix of sentimental ornaments many bought on holidays¬†also has¬†3 gold&bred beaded bells received from another omletter¬†(thank you)!Third is small artificial tree upstairs in the corridor with bookshelves that is our home library. I've been told I can't go to a 4th Christmas tree...

6. Would you prefer a Christmas craft or more general for all year round
I'm not fussy!

7. Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Picasso or Banksy?
All but prefer Matisse and Blek Le Rat

8. Allergies?
Cats ūüė¨See ques 1

Well, I know how you feel, having made mine for the last few evenings, I spotted a mistake 2/3 of the way through - so frustrating !!!

So, as I don't work Tuesday afternoons, I spent this afternoon starting all over again.

It's a good job we have a while to make our swaps.

Working on my gift as quickly as possible.  As it is a nice bright, but cold, day I decided to jet wash the ground under the go-up.  I put high quality fake grass in the run and usually rake it out every couple of days.  What do others use for their hens? A Also we have rats that have dug tunnels under the caging, any ideas to help with this welcomed!

Another parcel has been sent

Girly, why not put patio slabs under your run and then either put the astro turf you already have on top, or some nice hard wood woodchips.

I’m getting close to the finish line!    Should be able to post soon.

Girly, cover your run with clear tarps from Tarpaflex, then you can use aubiose.   Lasts for months if you rake through ground sanitising powder.  And composts beautifully.   As for rats, take food and water in every night.  They can’t digest food without water.  Eventually they will go away

Thank you for the advice. I bought Equinola bedding, is it the same as Aubiose?
and I bought a rat-proof (supposedly)  feeder to hang in the run.  I didn’t realise I had to take the water out, will do so in future.
l have just finished my gift, will be posting it soon,  my daughter has a hospital procedure on Friday so we have been self isolating.  Hopefully next week will be ok.

It took me a while to understand the importance of removing the water.  Made sense once I knew.   Good luck with Friday.   Still loads of time to post.  Not even December yet!
