Sarah 2
My name is Toffee and I live near Southampton with my owners. But they've had enough of me trying to escape to a better life. My wings are clipped and I lay most days as I'm only about 6 months old. Raisins and corn on the cob are some of my favourite treats. I love a cuddle and stroke everyday. Is there anyone out there with a nice big garden that I could come and stay in. Please let me know???? Toffee

superjules
Oh dear, poor Toffee. I hope you find a new home soon. I'm a long way away and my GNR are a bit set in their ways to accept a new chook, otherwise I'd have you!
Jules.
Toffee I'm afraid you are a bit too far away from me.
Guest
Toffee you are sooo lovely, but a bit far for me too and we have just had 2 new girls as well, so a bit cramped at the moment I'm sure someone will have you, who could resist such a lovely girl and a good layer as well Fingers crossed someone comes forward

Cinnamon
I would love her - if you can get to Henley a great home in a lovely hen pen is waiting. She looks like a real sweetie
Guest
when I see what lovely, well cared for hens should look like, it breaks my heart to think of what a life the scawny darlings I have adopted have had. Hope you find a home soon, you're stunning and what a pose!
Madchook
Oooo, I work in Soton so to and fro alot:) My girls will be moving into a cube very shortly (beginning of Nov) - we have just moved to a rural location and have heaps of space for naughty chickens so if you are interested then please pm me! Prob better to overlap them moving into cube maybe, although I don't suppose it matters, plenty of people introduce a 3rd to an eglu right? Ziggy
Hi guys, Was just reading this, and thought... I might be coming near Southampton this weekend... how 'near' Southampton does Toffee live? I can't offer her a home myself, but noticed Cinnamon's interest and I live in Oxford, which is not quite next door to Henley but rather closer than Southampton... so just wondered if I could help in any way?? The ride wouldn't be the most relaxing for a chook (I have 4 kids, one still a baby, can be very quiet but can just as well be the ride from hell), but if there is something I can do to help I'd be happy to. Ziggy
Sorry I had missed Maddy's post (was half asleep), so maybe Toffee is all sorted now, but if not and I can help, my offer still stands
Sarah 2
Thanks Ziggy for your offer of help. But hopefully Toffee will get a new home with Maddy. We are in the process of sorting something out. Thank you everyone for your replies and offers of homes for Toffee. Sarah
Chooks Aloud
I only live just up the road in Fareham and have room. I've a big garden and a lovely huge run to keep the birds safe whilst I'm not in. If you are still wanting to re-home, please pm me.
