beckyfitz
Molly has been laying very infrequently for the past few weeks, put it down to losing her sister & then getting used to two new ones. now they seem settled but she has stopped laying altogether, but is also moulting. last year she laid all through the winter. Could it be the moulting that means she is not laying? I don't blame her, I wouldn't feel up to much losing all those feathers either! mostin
They often stop laying completely when moulting. it takes too much out of their body to make new feathers and to make eggs. once the worst of the moult is over I'm sure she'll begin again
