Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Recommended Posts

New owner of the Pro - upgraded from the cube.  The nest boxes are getting soaked during rain - all three of them.  The back side is completely wet inside.  We have checked and rechecked that it is together properly and all connections are tight.  We don't understand why this is happening.  The only thing we can think is that the design material is thinner than with the cube.  The seals are much thinner, the plastic is much thinner and the roof slant is much shorter and not as drastic as on the Cube.  The Pro, for it's money, is disappointing thus far.  Anyone else having an issue with the nests getting wet?

I have a omlet pro and it is getting wet inside where the nesting box is too. I was thinking it might be coming in from the vent but not sure. I am totally disappointed. My son in law said we could try fastening a tarp to the top of the run and stretch it across to some poles at a slope so the rain water would run off the tarp. I hope it will work. The indide needs to ne dry especially when winter comes.
