Guest Posted March 7, 2008 Share Posted March 7, 2008 I had to have new tyres on my car today (£365 OUCH - not to mention whilst I was waiting for them to be fitted I paid out £500 over the phone as the deposit on my new car!). I know they are not supposed to give you the old tyres but I smiled nicely at the manager and told him that if the old ones were to end up in my boot I would not be unhappy as they would be heading for the veggie garden. So 4 more tyres for me (and how embarrasing that one of them is balder than any of the ones I've recycled from being dumped on the roadside ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
