Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi There,

 

My 2 chickens haven't layed for a week or so now and I am getting a bit worried. They went a little broody for a couple of days and just sat in nest all day and took it in turns, and they kept pecking each other.... But they havent done any of that for about 4 days now and they still arent laying.... they are only about 9 months old.

 

Any suggestions?

When mine have gone broody they haven't laid untill about a week after they've come out of it.

 

Maybe it's that.

Yup. That'll be the answer. They will start laying again soon so don't worry.

phew.... thank you. I have never had them go broody before so I wasnt sure what to do.... Thanks for the help.
