Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

I'm really annoyed with myself. I've just tried to move the Eglu and run on my own as I wanted to clean the run out. Whilst trying to move the run I snapped a couple of clips around the skirt . I knew I should have waited until DP got home but typically I couldn't wait. I've ordered a packet of spare clips...

 

I do wish the Eglu had wheels, it would make life easier - especially when trying to move it to cut the lawn.

If you take the top of the Eglu, you can carry the whole thing with the run, as it is much lighter. I only found out this was possible a couple of months or so ago when I was desperate to dig over the ground on which it stood but had no one to help me.

 

At least you can console yourself that the new Omlet clips you have sent for will be much better than the old ones.

Only figured that one out today whilst moving it to its new home off the grass and under the trees. Bought some bark for inside the run so they can have a good scratch around. At least it will save my grass a little bit! Looks pretty good too!
