Ardene5
Hi Everyone Have any of you seen page 23 of todays Daily Express (15-09-08). The heading" Chick saved by a whisker" it seems that Snowy the cat has taken orphan chick Gladys under his wing. The pair became friends after Gladys's family was killed by a fox. Farmer Jean Etherington, 69, of Middleton, Suffolk said: "Gladys would not have survived outside , so we kept her inside where she was warm". "Snowy cleaned her and washed her. When Gladys started going out she would not go unless they went together". "She is now 10 weeks old and still comes into the house to play with snowy". What a heart warming story when we are used to hearing doom and gloom.
