sandyhas3chucks
This is by way of an update... Have everyone elses girls settled down? I think the change in weather (quite dramatic changes in short time as someone pointed out) This morning I had 3 good eggs, though head girl not and although biggest her body seems to be more sensible & eggs have slowed down, ut with no softees from ger(touch wood) There are still lots of fluffy little feathes everywhrer which just seems so unfair on the ex batts having just got some if not all! I also "moved" there home to winter quarters & I am guessing that all the changes upset their little selves!!!

cordelia
bumper bits..are they pecking too??? as ex batts I guess they will of course...(dopey me) a few posts said try Ukadex to spray them....smells terrible though apparently.. but will stop them getting each other, because of the foul smell.. yes could be the fireworks...or just chicken stuff... Other posts have suggested upping the calcium for softees, I have oyster shell, but another post said limestone flour is more easily absorbed...(I think its limestone flour..which I dont have...best have a search on that to make sure...but I think its that)
