Lesley
We're looking to change our LPG boiler for a pellet stove and to have a thermal store (cylinder) which will service the underfloor heating and hot water. We're waiting for there to be more choice, both in the stoves and the source of pellets. There doesn't seem to be much choice around at the moment The man who services our LPG boiler has recently done a course on thermal stores and wood pellet boilers so we're waiting for him to tell us what choice there is. gracefruit
Lesley, there was a good blurb in the last issue of Mother Earth News about pellet stoves. It talked about the cost of the stoves and the pellets (and possible pellet shortages as demand grows). They have a really nice website with a few articles about pellet stoves. www.motherearthnews.com The magazine is fantastic -- might be a nice Christmas pressie for yourself. chickenanne
A pellet stove sounds really good - and I don't know but guess that pellets wouldn't take up as much storage space as logs.
