Attention Omleteers from the far North! Question!

Recommended Posts

Iwas talking to a Finnish colleague yesterday during a fire drill and she was asking how my chickens were and if they were laying well. Then we got onto whether pure bred chickens lay in the winter in Finland, and she didn't know. I expect these days there are sheds full of chickens that are lit artificially so that the Finns have eggs in winter, but what was it like when all the chickens were pure breeds and there was no electricity? I know we have an Omleteer who is originally from Sweden......?
