I remember seeing a thread about frozen water and things you can put in it to prevent it freezing. I didn't take so much notice at the time because I didn't see much of a problem with taking a kettle out in the morning. However - the water is now freezing while I'm out so I could do with something to pop in the water to stop it freezing. I'm not keen on salt like others I know - I know they are ok with a bit of salt but I'd rather not risk it.

Freezing water has been a big problem for me this last week too, hope the weather is now turning milder though - it's above zero for the first time in a couple of days
