likeastar--x
Since the weathers turned colder, the bantams have spent more and more time hiding upstairs in the coop, rather than go outside. They seem to have formed a secret club, as when I open the door, they all look at me guiltily, as though they were just gossiping about me Hmm! Is this just bantams being wimps? One of them (from a different clutch) goes outside all the time, though sometimes hides upstairs with them when she feels left out. Im so confused! esta
Hey, I have bantams too, i have a game cockeral and 5 other little ones. All of them are wimpy as they have stopped laying for around 6 months The cockeral didn't like the snow and lifted him foot to his head evertime he walked and the girls just froze or tried to fly over the snow. Yes, they are very wimpy esta x
ted
I would not have said my bantams were wimpy until the snow came... what a display of cowardice!!! I had to dig a path to the lawn for them and an area for them to free range in. One thing that I have found they dont like is the wind. I have pegged some protection on the sides of the run under the cube so that they can shelter properly in there when weather is bad. They dont tend to go upstairs...
