Dawn T-B
Well for the last 3 nights all 6 of my girls have refused to sleep in the nest box of their and have now decided (all at the same time) that its no good for sleep any longer and that they should sleep on the roosting bars - have they grown up or is it feeling a bit warmer on a night? They have also decided over the past few weeks that they will no longer have anything to do with the water I put out but will only drink from the spring in the field, which is great when the weather was cold because I knew the spring wouldn't freeze, but this leaves me with a problem of how I get them to take the supplements I was putting in their water - any suggestions can I get any dry things to add to feed instead? Ain't Nobody Here
Which supplements were you giving them? I give mine poultry spice and garlic powder in their pellets. I suppose you could add liquid supplements to any extra treats you gave them (like veg peelings or porridge type things?)
