Chickaboo
Over the last few months Daphne appears very thin and has lost some weight she was 2kg (2.5kg post broody ) but she is now 1.92kg. She looks and feels very thin. Apart from this she appears completly well; she's laying, behaving normally, recently wormed, eating - she has never been a big eater, compared to greedy Phoebe but she woofs down her treats (afternoons only ). She's quite a highly strung chicken and gets stressed at the slightest thing (you know rain, visitors etc etc), therefore I'm reluctant to take her to the vet unless really necessary. I wondered if anybody had any thoughts?? Also Phoebe isn't eating her food, as I've been watching them carefully at the weekend.
westleigh
maybe the fact that she gets quite stressed is keeping her weight low,as you have wormed them and she seems healthy i wouldnt worry, guess they are like people really,my hubby can eat for england and never puts on weight if i look at a cake i'v gained two pounds
