Surfnirvana
I noticed that Betty - a Miss Pepperpot, has lost her feathers from the underpart of her chest and under her legs. She has a few feathers on her breastbone, so you wouldn't notice unless you looked, but none eitherside. It's been like this for a few months, but hasn't got worse, but hasn't improved either. Her skin isn't sore, but it is dry and a little flaky. I've checked the other girls and they have the same lack of feathers, but not quite as bad. I have changed their bedding from Aubiose to wood chip to see if that makes a difference, but it hasn't. Betty sleeps in the roosting bars at night whilst the others squeeze into the nesting box where there is straw. Is there anything I can put on her skin to relieve the dryness? Is there anything else you can suggest I can try? Thanks so much. x
quickcluck
I've had a similar problem and use either johnson teatree and lavender cream from the pet shop or sudocreme! Do you put lime in your run?

quickcluck
I wouldn't worry, the vet said it might be why mine lost their feathers!! We also have a bit of a bully, so she may have something to do with it! Good luck with the basting
