Hello all,

 

I want to boil some of my eggs and have the children paint them (for Easter).

 

But does anyone know how long do they 'fresh' enough to eat after they have been boiled?

I'm not sure how long a cooked boiled egg would keep.

 

But when I was a child I used to "blow" eggs and then paint them. I remember needing a lot of puff to do it. I did a google search and found this:

We used to keep our boiled/decorated eggs at room temperature and eat them up to a week after they'd been boiled...and that was with store bought eggs. We have never had any problems. I would imagine that uber fresh eggs from your eglu would certainly keep that long!
