madchickenlady
Just to add something else into the mix, a breeder has offered me one of these (bantam sized) As she is a good distance from me, I'd love to be able to make a decision as to whether or not I like the look of them without visiting IYSWIM. Does anyone have one? What are they like? How do they compare to pekins?
Palmer06
Hello, I have a frizzle silkie cross! I have had her for about eight months. She is top chook in my flock of seven bantams. Here are some pics I posted recently about her going broody see here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=36452&p=559952#p559952 She has gone broody three times so far and is a tad evil with it. I am not sure if it is a breed trait (sp?). I think you are best to go have a look at the one offered if you can. They are def something different. Aggienator
What great chooks My best man keeps some hens and refers to his Silkies as the comedy chickens, but these girls are the queens
