Thanks to ..lay a little egg (Caroline) for useful advice about worming. I posted a month or so ago because our two five year old had started laying in January, then stopped in February.

 

I wormed them at the beginning of March and on Friday 13th we got an egg! They are currently laying 4-6 per week which is fine by us. I'm just about to re-worm and shall be doing it first three days of every month as per instructions, from now on. And it was so easy to do!

 

Would be interested to know who, on the forum, has the oldest laying chicken?

Wow - five years old and still laying! My oldest is three, she was laying till she started moulting about a month ago but I hope she will come back into lay soon.
