piptiddlepip Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 All our girls have been tremendous layers, an egg every day, and Gytha lays some absolute whoppers (she's a big chook). But Esme, who laid first and has always laid an egg every day since she started, laid a softie last week and then suddenly stopped laying at all. We haven't had an egg out of her for a week now, which is VERY unusual! She seems healthy, eats normally (though seems to be a bit slow walking to the feed dish, whereas the others dash down the garden in the morning like feathered rockets), scratches about with the others, lazes in the sun as usual, tries to steal the cats' food - she seems normal, just isn't laying.
