Hi,

After having our three POL hybrids for about 3 weeks we have had a text to say we have our 1st egg! Layed this morning, Easter Sunday of all days. Brilliant! However we are 120 miles away :| I want to jump in the car right now and drive home so I can check tomorrow morning! LOL

 

It's a brown egg aparently, we have a Ginger ranger, bluebell and a speckeldy. Who do u think laid it? My money is on the Bluebell!

Well done chick! That excitment of looking for eggs has not worn out for us yet!

 

I would guess the GNR - the Bluebelle will probably lay pale brown with a pinkish tinge, and the speckledy will be speckled... all being well and average!

 

I assume that you noticed crouching and red growing combs on all of them too? The classic signs of coming into lay?? That might help identify too.
