Eglu Cube, auto door, walk in run for sale South West London

My 4 new girls in their new coop have a couple of full length perches about 18inches high, this is obviously a problem for the silkie, I was hoping she'd sleep in the nest box, but last night she obviously slept under the perches - lets just say she went into the coop white and came out white , green and brown ! I'm thinking the orpington may also have problems when she gets bigger, so , I'm thinking of having dad make some cube style roosting bars, there will be a gap between them and the nest box so the silkie can sit on the floor if she wants - obviously the bar size may not suit her little feet, but at least she won't be able to get underneath the others when they are perching.

I need to know the size of the gaps between the cube bars ( in inches please ? ) and can someone also tell me the diameter of the bars in the cube and do they have a silkie that uses these bars ? Thanks.

I have a mk2(green eglu) not a cube , but would assume that the dimensions of the bars are the same as the cube.

 

The bars are about 1 inch square with rounded corners and there is a 1 inch gap between them , hope this helps

Thanks for that, that's a smaller gap than I thought, also the diameter of the bars is much smaller than my perches. Might include a couple of smaller bars at the end , maybe it will encourage the silkie to perch.
