Lizzie Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 We have now integrated our two newer chooks with our remaining older chooks. Everything seems to be ok, they have spent two nights together so far However, the new ones still keep going back to the "halfway" house to lay their eggs. I put them repeatedly into the main house to lay, but they were getting stressed out so had to give in Both myself and my husband are working tomorrow so they won't be able to access the eglu - obviously am worried that they will freak out and get the egg stuck What else can I do to help them ? I placed an egg we had from yesterday to try and show them what to do, Flo stayed for a bit then came back out again. They also are quite nervy, not as laid back as the others and we have had them over 8 weeks. Any advice, gratefully received as always.
