meezers Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 Those of you with silkies, what sort of drinkers do you use ? I have an ordinary gravity drinker in the new girls run. The run is covered and the ground bone dry, but Muppet has been wearing a 'mud pack' on her top knot for the past week. She somehow dips her feathers in the drinker ( how, I really don't know.she must do yoga to do it ) and then goes to preen and drags her top knot through the dirt.
