prudance Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 I'm not sure that any weed killers are safe, but you don't need to keep the chickens away for very long. We were using Green Thumb for our lawn until we got chickens. Have changed to some one else who offers an organic service that is supposed to be chicken safe. The picture of the chickens on the lawn on their web site sold it to me! Also, their director keeps free range chickens. I don't know what they're using though. But whatever it is, it must be possible to source yourself. Just going to take some hunting down. Sorry - not helped much - just given you hope that such a product must exist.
