CrazyDaizy
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=39330 This is happening AGAIN!! I am taking photos so you can see exactly how her body goes when she gets like this. I make it sound like it happens a lot.... well its the second time and she's only less than a year old. A day of TLC!
CrazyDaizy
Sorry, I did try to re-size them, but they are still quite big. This is how she is..... her feet are all the way forwards and she cannot stand up. She is eating and drinking but we have to offer it to her as she cant get to it herself. As you can see she is still bright eyed but does drop off to sleep occasionally. Sorry I had to delete the photos, she died and it didnt feel right having them on here Edited June 13, 2009 by Guest

CrazyDaizy
Thanx for your response. I thought posting some photos of how she is might make a difference I havent taken her to a Vet because our local Vet is not good with Chickens anyway. She has laid an egg today AND pooped. So that cannot be the problem. It seems she goes like this from time to time for no apparent reason, then recovers just as quickly! I just WISH someone could tell me with the problem is. She's fine in every other aspect, just that she cannot stand up, even though she is trying to!
sandyhas3chucks
bound to get some response to photos. wonder if it would be worth a phone comnsult with an Avian vet somewhere. Those pictures should really help. What about emailing Omlet with them? Am watching for replies now. Is she moving better again? Are they particularly big eggs? CrazyDaizy
Hia again I thought by posting on here, I was "emailing Omlet!" Maybe I should try that. She is in the same position (as in photos) trying desparately to move every so often, must be so frustrating for her! No change. Egg was usual size. She's eating/drinking whatever I offer her. Tomorrow should see an improvement. Just wish I knew what problem was.
