catherinej Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 One chick hatched late last night (very cute - will post pics soon) but remaining 2 are showing no signs of hatching. I have candeled them and not looking good - not that im an expert but they just look really dark and can't see any veins at all. Also, cannot hear any noise coming from them. I have put them back under my broody for now. My questions are 1. will one chick be ok on it's own? (I may consider buying chicks if not) 2. how long do I leave the other eggs to hatch? and 3. my broody seems to be panting alot and just wondered if this in normal?
