iandjsmum
One of my white stars (the top chicken in the pecking order) has started to pull feathers from the other birds, particularly the other white star, and then eat them as quickly as she can. I have read that this can be a sign of protein deficiency? Any ideas please? Is there anything I could feed them to boost the protein at this time of year? I noticed she was still doing it even when freeranging a bit today so not sure boredom is the problem. It's very upsetting to watch. Thanks.
