A question from the inexperienced here.

Since we had our 3 girls (a month) we've had 2 or 3 eggs daily till a week ago, then it dropped to 2 eggs only. Yesterday we only had one egg. When I looked in the roosting section today i saw two sofies in the poop tray.

They were only an inch or so apart, one looked like just a yolk in a leathery membrane, the other looked more egg like but with a thin, soft shell that had ripped open.

The girls have only ever laid in the nest box and all three look very perky, eating fine, poos look good (who'd have thought I'd be checking bird poo  )

Is it possible that one girl could have been a bit egg bound? given the place and proximity of the "eggs"?

Thanks
