Saywell Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help. Me and the wife are new to the chicken world. We have Ginger nut ranger and a miss pepper pot. They started laying a few days after we got the Eglu. They have now started to lay every other day, so Barbara has laid today and Betty the day before, it's been like that for the last week. Being new is this something that we should expect given they are only 25 ish weeks old? Sometimes they both go in the Eglu and Betty sits on Barbara. I have read that this is fine as they learn where to lay and they only lay there. But I wondered if this is also effecting the laying? Any help or opinions would be gratefully received.
