sugarmouse
When i went to buy my 4 pekin bantams last week, the seller also had one little porcelain sabelpoot or dutch booted bantam and i just could not resist her. She has become my un official favourite, she is full of character, really cheeky and is the first to come running when i go in with food. She is also the tamest and will sit on my arm. I was wondering if anyone else has a sabelpoot and what they think of them
sugarmouse
Oh yes i will be interested to hear how you get on. I think its amazing that you take her out to the school, what a character. We let ours out last night in the garden for the first time as i only got them last Friday and Bella, was the first out but didnt go far and hopped back in again. Ive never known a bird like her for being tame, will definitely get more in the future. all the best Gill
art12345
I had a sablepoot, a black and white mottled one called lille eggie she was lovely. I have a dutch bantam which is quite similar now and she is so friendly and greedy flying on me for food and bossing the bigger chickens around.
