I've read reference to the potential for rats to tunnel and nest under a Classic - ugh! Has this been known to happen if the Eglu is sited on grass? If so, now would the Eglu be on a gravel path with the run extending onto the lawn? Or, on a concrete path either with the run extending onto a flowerbed (we'd probably have to remove top layer of soil and chip it????) or the run along the concrete with woodchip in it?
