Hi everyone

A friend of mine has a girl who is under-the-weather and we would really appreciate some advice:

Buttercup was a bit slow this morning coming out of her house and is now drinking lots and seems to be doing very watery droppings We think that her crop is quite full of water (this is over the 'phone to a worried chickie mum!)

 

Any advice would be gratefully received - I can supply some ACV and Nutri-drops but any other tips would be good.

It could be any number of things really. Is she laying? What is her vent like? How long has she been ill for? She sounds like she may be best of taking her to see a vet to be honest.

My friend said he only noticed her looking uner-the-weather this morning and that she had a clean bottom - I will ask him to call his wife back to check on eggs/vent etc.

I should have added that Buttercup is an ex-batt.

Buttercup's mum is going to take her to the vets asap (hopfully this evening) but I am going to pop round and give her some nutri-drops to try and give her a boost.
