Chicken Mad Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 I am no expert but my three girls done a similar trick when I got them in January. One egg on Monday second on Wednesday and then nothing for the rest of the week. Following week I found 2 soft shells in the tray. However, they started laying two weeks later. At firts just the two, the third one taken extra week (but now she is the best layer!). I now get about 18-21 eggs a week! Not all lay every day even when they do get the hang of things.
