MammaT
Hello to all, I just have to share these pics with you. Hope I do it properly. I know it's completely the wrong time of year to be raising chicks but they will be indoors (in a larger broody house and pen with a tarp underneath to help with cleaning) as they grow and I'll only put them out when/if weather conditions allow. I think they'll be truly pampered and hopefully very tame. I've got a bottle of coxoid on order and need proper feed/water holders asap as they flick the sawdust everywhere. I'm using a reptile heat mat inside the box lid and they're never totally closed in. I'm finding they're fine without any heat for periods during the day, probably as the house is warm anyway, and I'm changing the sawdust regularly as they do spill water! I've been reading through everything on here (many thanks to Griffin) but grateful for any additional tips etc or pointers if you think I'm doing something wrong. Thanks Teresa
