Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Living in North Cheshire would love to know how long during the day I should expect my colony to be flying in good weather. Sunny evening tonight and 16 degrees but no bee activity

 

Also they don't seem to get going till about 9:00am. Have I just got lazy bees?

 

Any thoughts welcome

I'm in South Cumbria.

It has rained here for a month, though temperatures, by and large, have been between 11 and 16.The bees do get out between showers.

Yesterday was warm,dry and sunny. They were out at 7am when the sun hit the hives and were still out flying at 9pm.

Making up for lost time.
