Becky Warwick
Hi There, We collected our Pink Guinea pig eglu on Sat very exciting and went for a 2 meter run to give them loads of space. We dont however want to put it on the grass as it will be in too much sun with a south facing garden so the eglu is going onto our decking. As we dont want the Guinea pigs directly on the decking I need to lay a flooring or some type under the run, anyone any ideas?? I had origionaly thought artificial grass but I think they may eat it? Am stumped as to what to use and collect my Guinea pigs next week so need to work it out. many thanks for any help anyone can offer. Becky Warwick
I found my solution! Slightly odd though it may seem, we have laid down 3 sets of childrens outdoor hopscotch jigsaws. They are warm and insulating with a none slip texture that can bo washed down soft to sit on should one of the children be sat in the run with the guinea pigs. (went for the 2 meter run so more room for sitting) Spent £15 and am happy with the result although time will tell how much of a success it is.
