well now the weather has turned I managed to get up my allotment this week and start some of the big jobs that need doing. on my "prodject" list for this year is:

Lanscape fabric & bark my paths

construct a second compost bin

construct a leaf mould bin

put up a boundry fence.

 

what plans do you have for the coming season?

Not an allotment, but my veg patch in the garden needs a thorough overhaul. New fencing, as the Omlet netting isn't working, it's been chewed in a few places and needs constant tightening up to keep the hens out. Removal of a Kilmarnock willow that's too old, some more raised beds, and then paths made with the slabs left from my old patio. I'm going to screen it off with some wires, and plant a Veronique thornless blackberry.
