mumblecheekyuggs
my rabbit has seemed to have suddenly got crispy fur around the eye. i don't know what it is and am not sure what to do with it, but i did clean it out thoroughly this morning with a warm cotton wool and salt. it has now managed to start in the other eye. should i worry. she now has the other rabbit as a friend who is very sweet to her, so i don't want him to get it really, so what is it? thanks, doesn't seem to irritate her. Princess Leia
Warm saline is best for cleaning with. Is it a Lop rabbit? They can be prone to eye problems as they age - it can indicate a problem with overgrown teeth which may need dealing with.
