We are fencing the veg patch, at last, to keep the hens out, as currently we are rather wire netting heavy over Everything, and it looks a bit Guantanimo out there!! I ask for the strangest birthday presents, but that way no wriggling out can be done!!

For 1st yr planting at the new to us house, we are doing ok, although the carrots look a bit patchy.....

Sweetcorn started in pots, to go into the ground tomorrow , in the forcast rain : saves watering it in, I suppose!!

Sounds like everything is good to go, love the long suffering husband part. Mine says the same.
