effingpot
Hi - I suddenly have a load of foxes around day and night trying to get into my chicken run. It's built with the wire coming back away from the bottom of the fence under flagstones and is pretty hard to get into but over the last two nights they have been at it and managed break through the wire in a few places. Just a matter of time!. I need to get em and although I have the loan of a trap lined up - it's not till sept and it's miles from me in Hook, Hampshire. So if there is any kind soul out there in Hants / Berks and willing to loan one for a week I may be able to save my girls!! Thanks Mike
Olly
Sorry, but I think you need to strengthen your defences. Even if you trap a fox there will be another one along to fill its place - you will never be confident that you have them all. Chicken wire is not suitable to keep predators out, it only serves to keep chickens in. You need to replace it with weldmesh.
