Put them pointy end down, will settle for 24 hour and set incy for 24 hours, now for the questions - Ive read about candling, and am sure ill be find with the mid incubation candle, but,I've red in books you should candle when they arrive, but I'm unsure what I'm looking for, a few you can see the water level, a few seem to have a shadow mass type thing in them, and some can't see anything, they seem clear,for want of a better word! Which is good? As I've brought excess anyway, and is there anything I should be looking for? Some, are a little dirty, should I wipe? Lastly, I have silkie and bantam Orpingtons, the bantams are about a 21 day hatch, will the silkies hatch about the same time? If not will this be ok? Thank you in advance for any advice.
