I just want to warn you all about the possibility of fly strike in hens. My last hen has just been put to sleep at the vets due to fly strike. It is one of the most horrific things to see. Please be extra vigilant in checking your hens vent especially in this warm weather and make sure that the area is clean and dry and poo free. :(
