Question about yolk colour...

Quick question about yolk colour. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed the colour of my girls yolks has gone really dark, almost orange! Their diet hasn't really changed. They still get the same brand of layers pellets and mixed corn and their green treats have remained the same. The chooks haven't free-ranged more than they usually do, although I guess new grass is starting to grow at this time of the year. However about 2 weeks ago I did start to add apple cider vinegar to their water for a variety of reasons. Would the ACV cause the change in yolk colour? Or could it be stress related? (I also introduced two new pullets at about the same time too). I'm not overly concerned - the eggs still taste the same - just curious! Thanks x
