gingersam Posted July 30, 2013 Share Posted July 30, 2013 hi everyone I just wondered if anyone could help me, I have two chickens that are broody, one bantam and one rhodeisland red, they are happily sitting on their eggs but today I found a cracked egg under each bird and they both had almost fully formed chicks in them, clearly it was an accidental crack but I am wondering why this happened and also If no other eggs hatch how long should I leave them under the birds after the 21 days??? thankyou all advice gratefully received gingersam x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
